Proving Your No Claims Bonus

You should be aware that we require you to provide us with proof of your No Claims Bonus (NCB). To assist you to do this quickly and easily, you can complete the form below and attach a copy of the appropriate document. It can be in the format of a PDF or a picture (though you must ensure that the document can be clearly read).

You have 14 days from your policy start date to provide your proof of NCB. Unfortunately if proof is not given then we may have to cancel your policy.

It may take up to 3 working days for us to process your document, but we will notify you by email or text once this has been done.

Please complete the form below by filling in your details and attach your proof of bonus (PDF, JPG, Word document accepted). All fields marked with * must be completed before submitting.

Alternatively, you can email your proof of NCB to NCB@octagoninsurance.com – please include your name, post code and vehicle registration in your email so that we can identify your policy.

Car Insurance

Your proof of No Claims Bonus must be:

	Issued by your previous insurer in England, Scotland or Wales
	Earned in England, Scotland or Wales on a private car
	Less than 24 months old
	In the policyholder's name
	Earned on a full UK or EU licence
	Used to insure one vehicle only
	Earned from a private car and cannot be used for a commercial vehicle policy

Van Insurance

Your proof of No Claims Bonus must be:

	Issued by your previous insurer in England, Scotland or Wales
	Earned in England, Scotland or Wales on a private car
	Less than 24 months old
	In the policyholder's name
	Earned on a full UK or EU licence
	Used to insure one vehicle only
	Earned from a commercial vehicle and cannot be used for a private car policy
