There is no need to worry about these checks being performed. All are routine checks and are recorded on your credit report so that you can see and check them. As you can see each search footprint shows the name of the organisation that carried out the search, the reason for the check and when it took place. There are a variety of reasons for checks to take place. Importantly, though, only checks made to support an actual credit application leave the type of search footprint that can affect your credit score.

Horizon Insurance Company Limited access credit reference agency held data to verify identity and bank details. Horizon Insurance Company Limited takes its responsibility for preventing financial crime including fraud and money laundering seriously. Your credit score is not visible to Horizon Insurance Company Limited or Octagon Insurance Services. Anti-Money laundering checks are not visible to companies from whom you may wish to borrow or to other insurance companies, and they have no impact on your credit score.
Only Call Credit can amend or delete the search on your credit file relating to Octagon and only Horizon Insurance Company Limited can decide if its own search was legitimate or not. If Horizon Insurance Company Limited decide upon referral that a search was not legitimate, they will instruct Call Credit to amend or delete the search information held.
